Document Verification
Every document generated by Klervex includes a SHA-256 hash for tamper-proof verification.
How It Works
- When a document is generated, a SHA-256 hash of its content is computed
- The hash is stored permanently in the Klervex database
- The hash is printed in the document footer
- Anyone can verify the document at klervex.com/verify
Verifying a Document
Via Web Portal
- Go to klervex.com/verify
- Enter the document hash (found in the document footer)
- The system confirms:
- Whether the hash exists
- When the document was generated
- Document type and basic metadata
Via Verification Link
Each generated document has a shareable verification link. The recipient clicks the link and sees the verification status directly.
What Verification Proves
- The document was generated by Klervex
- The document has not been modified since generation
- The timestamp of generation
What Verification Does Not Prove
- Accuracy of the data (that's what validation is for)
- Legal binding status
- Whether the document was accepted by customs
